Lost out in two CL auctions back in 2016, I snagged this copy eventually for the bargain price of $46. This issue is easily the most readily available in the entire series. I think there are always multiple 9.8 graded copies you can pick up at a moment's notice. My copy is tied with an incredible TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX other copies for HIGHEST GRADED on the census. It is equally incredible that there is nary a 9.9 amongst them.
What is the most fitting Batman team-up to end the series, well, of course, Batman...and Batman. Well, not really - while the exploits of the Earth-Two Batman are recounted, there is no actual team-up between the Batmans (Batmen?) of both Earths as, well, Earth-Two Batman is dead. Basically a nemesis (not that guy who took up so many backup stories in the title) of Earth-Two Batman wanted his revenge on a dead Batman, so instead he took it out on Earth-One Batman.

There have been other volumes of Brave and the Bold in more recent years, but this was the first and the best!
