I purchased this book raw for $7.50 from Aamazing Fantasy Comics (yes, they really spell it with two a's) in Littleton, CO. Of all the books I have found and sent in for grading, this book is one of my favorites. Aamazing Fantasy Comics is a great place I discovered thanks to the Collectors Society Messages Boards. I make a point to stop in whenever I'm heading to or returning from Denver, Colorado. My third visit to Aamazing Fantasy brought my way this beautiful copy of Adventures #498. My first visit to the shop was where I found my copies of Action Comics #685 2nd printing and Superman #75 4th printing, which were my first successful 9.8 submissions, that I dropped off at CGC’s both at Denver Comic Con 2016. Finding this book in April, 2017 was also a part of a birthday weekend spent with great friends. I not only have the nostalgia of this storyline with this piece, I also have a memento of a fun weekend.
