I found a copy of this chromium covered collector's edition at Toys "R" Us as a 12 year-old in 1994. The comic I found was supposed to be packaged as a collector's set with Adventures of Superman #500 Poly-Bagged Edition and the four die-cut covers for each of the new Supermen. The package had been ripped open and the chromium comic had seen better days, but I had to have it, I didn't even know they made comics with shinny covers and "Reign of the Supermen!" was still new to me. I finally have a nice copy 23 years later, I've seen nice copies of this issue before, but they have been overpriced and prone to scuffing.
