if there is part of this hobby I know nothing about, it is the golden age. I do not want to say I'm an encyclopedia of knowledge. I am not. I have so much to learn especially about these older point fives I go after. This Lars of mass issue just sucked me in both because of the grade and because of the cover. The book was published in 1951 with a glorious painted cover. I grew up collecting comics in the eighties and the unusual photo copy cover that would arise piqued my interest. OK the one that did that was ASM 262.
as an adult looking at this cover I imagine my inner child screaming to be in on the action. even the back cover cries out the age of the comic book and not just because of the damage, but because it displays a full panel cigarette ad. I am pretty sure any other point fives of this book I will try to acquire. and now for some CGC info.
