Celebrity Authentics Offers A-List CGC Signature Series Comics

Celebrity Authentics has launched a new line of CGC Signature Series autographed comics. These extraordinary releases will provide collectors with the special opportunity to acquire a genuine, autographed CGC-graded comic from a stellar list of stars who have appeared in film as comic book characters.

First in the lineup is Marvel's Iron Man vs Whiplash #1, personally signed by Mickey Rourke, who portrays Whiplash in this summer's Iron Man 2. This edition is limited to only 100 signed and certified comics, each with a CGC Signature Series grade of 9.8. They are presently available for sale, and are accompanied by a Celebrity Authentics certificate featuring a picture of Rourke signing the comics.

Second in the series is sci-fi's iconic heroine Sigourney Weaver, who portayed the memorable Lt. Ellen Ripley in the Alien series of movies. Dark Horse's Alien #1 "Daytime" cover will be limited to 100 Weaver-signed comics with a CGC 9.8 grade. A scarce variant of the Alien #1 "Night" cover will also be released and is limited to just 25. This edition has just been released for pre-order and comics are scheduled to ship in April.

The third scheduled CGC Signature Series release is Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr.! Pre-sale is scheduled to go live in March, with buyers of the Rourke and Weaver releases receiving first opportunity.
