CGC On-site Certification at Baltimore Comic-Con, All-Tiers!

Posted on 8/22/2006

Baltimore Comic-Con is always one of the most anticipated shows in the east, and this year includes a new addition…CGC will be grading onsite!

Comic books of all types and comic ages (Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Modern) are eligible for certification at Baltimore. Comic books submitted for on-site services will be returned no later than the end of the show, encapsulated in CGC’s state-of-the-art holder. CGC will not be grading comic book magazines during on-site.

All books should be submitted at the CGC booths, #1105, 1106, and 1206. Dealers can submit to CGC for onsite grading during both show set-up hours and show public hours. We will be accepting books from the public all-day Saturday, September 9 and for part of the day on Sunday. Check with CGC representatives for cut-off times for onsite grading on Sunday, September 10.

CGC will also be accepting submissions for comic books and comic magazines throughout the show to take back to our Sarasota offices to be certified at regular turn-around times and prices. Submitting at the show is a great way to save time on packaging, and money on shipping and insurance.

An online submission form has been posted on CGC’s website for this show. Submitters can use this form to prepare your submission in advance to save time at the con and possibly long lines at the CGC Booth.
