CGC at Yancy Street Comics for Free Comic Book Day!

Free Comic Book Day is here again, or almost. It's the first Saturday in May every year, which this year falls on May 5, 2007. In celebration, Yancy Street Comics in New Port Richey, FL is hosting a huge special event with a number of comic book creators signing and sketching. CGC will be in attendance to witness all signings for the prestigious CGC Signature Series, and certification submissions will be accepted on site. Signings are scheduled from 11 am to 2 pm, and a number of accomplished creators will be on hand:

Admission is free and Yancy Street is offering a great goodie bag for all attendees! Yancy Street Comics will also be having their Annual Spring Cleaning sale that weekend, so make sure to buy some extra comics to have signed for the prestigious CGC Signature Series label!

On Free Comic Book Day, participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books for free to anyone who comes into their stores. This event celebrates the independent comic book specialty stores, and their unique character and role within their communities.
