About this set:
This set comprises my Serbian language The Walking Dead (TWD) comics, locally Okruzen Mrtvima. These were the first foreign language translations of any TWD comic books. The set comprises a total of fifteen comics (Okruzen Mrtvima #1 - #13, plus two B&W Sketch editions of #2 and #10). They were all published between August 2004 and March 2007.
I have all of these comics in my TWD collection, and intend to have them graded by CGC in due course.
The art for this set:
Six of these books have exclusive cover art. Goran Josic created the cover for issue #1, Milan Jovanovic the covers for issues #2-5 and Borislav Grabovic-Grabowski the cover for regular edition #10. This cover art has only ever appeared on those six comic books. The front covers to #6-9 and #11-13 are from the original TWD cover art created by Tony Moore. The interior art is by Moore (#1-6) and Charlie Adlard (#7-13).
Rarities in this set:
The two Serbian Sketch Editions - #2 (Jovanovic) and #10 (a sketch by Moore) - are amongst the rarest of all TWD comics with just 50 and 100 copies (respectively) printed.
Notes:
1. On 24th July 2021, my set moved into first position (but was subsequently overtaken).
