Set Description:
I first read Steve Ditko's Doctor Strange as a child and still remember being amazed by the creativity of the stories chronicling his lonely fight against the forces of darkness. The highlight was the Strange Tales #126-146 run featuring the epic Dormammu/Eternity arc. I also do admit to enjoying the cowardly Mordo getting beaten continually.
By 2000 I had most of a mid/high grade run of the Strange Tales/Doctor Strange issues, and around 2006 I decided to assemble a high-grade run in CGC 9.4 or so. Over the years that inflated to 9.5, and then CGC 9.6. The highlight was acquiring a CGC 9.6 copy of his first appearance in Strange Tales #110.
Of all my registry sets, the Ditko Strange Tales issues are most prized.
