OK, I’m also a Doors fan, once again dating myself.

Along with Mystery in Space, Strange Adventures is one of the great DC Sci-Fi titles from the 50s and 60s. We did not collect either title for many years, and still don’t target them like we do our Superhero runs, which is to say we are making no attempt to complete runs in either set. But we have grown a deep appreciation for some of the art and at times have acquired a few examples when the prices are reasonable. Our minimum grade for such acquisitions to date has been an 8.5, since that grade tops the census on many of the 50s issues. We may lower the bar to 8.0 and acquire a few more examples we like, if the opportunity arises, but again we have no plans to complete this set, as I believe doing so in a high grade would be virtually impossible. I was actually surprised we had as many books in this titles as we do when we decided to register them during our annual inventory check.
