Set Description:
My friend David handed me a copy of Wolverine #10 and told me I needed to read it because I would love it.
I read Wolverine and branched out to the X-men over the next several months, and continued until the stories quit attracting my attention, sometime in the mid 90's.
A few years ago my wife told me to get a hobby because she was feeling guilty about spending money on her hobby. I looked around for a while and settled on Wolverine CGC books as my new hobby. My wife now regrets asking me to get a hobby!
I have collected most of the original 1988 series in 9.8 or higher, with only a handful of issues still on my wish list. (PLEASE contact me if you have any 9.8 (42 Gold / 2nd print) or 9.8 SS (too many to list) or higher grades you are interested in selling!) About 2 years ago, I started branching out to Signature Series books, and now have 174 in the set, including the single highest (9.9 SS) of issues #1 and #75! There are over 200 issues in this set, so I still have lots of signatures to collect!
I have now added pictures of front covers to all the SS issues I own (even the lowly 9.4's!).
This set also features the first copies of the Deluxe versions of #87, 88, 89 and 99 to be recognized by CGC, as well as the first 9.8 SS copy of the Dynamic Forces edition for #125!
Many people have helped with tracking down high grade copies or getting them signed at events, so thank you to you all!
