Set Description:
WE ARE THE WALKING DEAD!
Thank you for taking a moment to view my registry set!
Like many people, my passion for the Walking Dead came not from the beginning but rather from mid-way into the series. My late entry into the world of the Walking Dead happened because I did not pick up an issue until after the Fear the Hunters arc (my first issue purchased off the stands was issue #69). At the time the series debuted I was strictly a super-hero book connoisseur and I did not notice the black and white comic about zombies that would later captivate my attention. It is easy to say that this is by far my absolute favorite book to read from month to month. I love the show, I love the novels, and I especially love the comics. It is now my pleasure to present to you my humble Walking Dead (2003 Complete with Variants) registry set…while it is a continual work in progress it is definitely a labor of love.
Rot on! (as Tony would say)

Meeting a Co-Creator of The Walking Dead
(Pictured Right)
I had the extreme honor to meet and speak at length with Tony Moore (co-creator and original artist of The Walking Dead) at the Louisville Comic Con on July 6th, 2014! Randomly, without checking to see who was actually present at the con, I run into Tony Moore's booth. Reminiscing to my first time meeting him I recalled waiting in line for 3 hours to get to see him for about 3 minutes and have an extremely short convo due to the crowd behind me. This time, there was no line. Needless to say, I was happily shocked to have the chance to speak with him for about 20 minutes and get a photo with really no interruptions. I found out that his favorite character to draw from the WD book was Jim (a very cool answer, IMO). I also found out some about the history of the art behind the first issue. Since I'm familiar with the area that the story begins in we spoke of how he got his inspiration for the settings (and I was told some cool stories about how he referenced images for his art for the 1st issue...particularly the gun-fight and hospital settings). We discussed some of the original art for the first six issues and I told him all about how much the WD fans on the boards covet his covers/pages. I also found out that we had some mutual connections since we graduated only 2 years apart (I knew some people he went to high school with, for example). All in all, it was an awesome conversation and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet him again (plus I got an awesome signed 11 X 17 print of the cover to WD1). Overall this made for an unforgettable experience with the original artist and co-creator of the worldwide phenomenon that is The Walking Dead. "Rot On!" as Tony would say!
(the excitement of being published in TWD's letters column)
I have been published eight times via letter submission to Letter Hacks - the official letters column for the Walking Dead comics. I was published in issues 122 and 123 (during the All-Out War story arc) as well as in issue #180 (at the end of the New World Order story arc...my letter in this issue is the very last letter published) and again in issues #181 & #182. Most recently, I was published in issues #184, #185, & #188 and as always I am very grateful for that! All in all I am incredibly honored and humbled to have multiple personal inclusions into the Walking Dead comic book series via Letter Hacks!
