Mister Miracle is one of the most fascinating and inventive creations of the 1970s. Kirby's Mister Miracle and the New Gods were the first comics that awed me. As a kid I was blown away by the incredible artwork, the storytelling, and the interconnectedness of the two series. I was an instant fan. Mister Miracle remains my favorite comic character. My premier goals in collecting are to complete this set in as high a grade as possible (primary stumbling block: the high cost of issue one in high grades), and to collect every Mister Miracle cover appearance in the history of comics.
Mister Miracle showcases some of Jack Kirby's greatest art, both interior and cover. In my opinion Mister Miracle numbers 2, 6, 9, and 12 are some of the greatest of all Jack Kirby covers.
