ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Questions (part 3 of 4)

Many things can happen in five years. Spawn discovers that Wanda married his best friend, Terry Fitzgerald. To make things even more painful, Terry was able to give Wanda the one thing Simmons could not – a daughter. The devastated hero was in such anguish that he found himself defenseless upon the return of the ugly clown, who promptly transformed into the Violator and successfully tore the beating heart out of Spawn’s chest.

REFLECTIONS: I remember drawing copies of this cover and learning a great deal about how to make a cape look really cool! I think this cover also proves that Spawn is strongly reminiscent of Batman from a visual regard.
