ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Father

Spawn returns to Earth in a wounded and confused state. He finds himself in a small town in Alabama, beaten and battered on the sidewalk. A small boy named Andy finds Spawn and offers shelter in a shed in his backyard. Andy hides his new friend from his father, who is a well-respected police officer by day and a drunken abuser of his children by night. When Spawn learns of the abuse, he catches the father in a back alley and tattoos him with the words “I beat my kids.” This action only leads to more severe abuse as the father returns to rampage his two children. The older brother is left with little choice but to end matters on his own.
