Thea is blessed with the kind of gift that can also be a curse – she can see how people will die before it happens. After hitting an emotional rock bottom, Thea begins to run from Spawn because she is convinced that he is there to harm her. Desperate to escape, Thea strikes a deal with Mammon. In exchange for Thea’s soul, the silver-tongued devil agrees to offer the protection she seeks. Upon sealing the bargain, Mammon reveals the truth to Thea – Spawn was actually trying to help her.
