ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Black Cat Bones (part 2 of 2)

Facing an early death from a terminal illness, Mark knows that he will go to Hell when he dies. Nevertheless, he is excited about the chance to improve his ranking there by accepting the curse of the Hellspawn. He attempts to trade places with Spawn, but is instead taken on an extensive tour of Hell, where he is put through a ritualistic test that rids him of his disease. Spawn begs Mark to abandon his quest for power but is ignored. As a result, Mark “accidentally” falls to his death before sealing the final arrangement. Rejecting the opportunity to rid himself of the curse forever, Spawn continues to carry the burden of his immense power.
