ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Shadows (Violator returns storyline part 1 of 2)

After being faced with the kidnap of Bobby, Spawn realizes that his presence is endangering his homeless friends and begins to plan his departure from the back alleys. A spy informs the Violator of Spawn’s intentions and sets up a meeting between the two in the sewers beneath the city streets of New York. A battle ensues and the Violator threatens to kill Spawn’s friends if he leaves town. As it turns out, neither friend nor foe desires his departure.
