origin and 1st appearance of Captain Marvel(Monica Rambeau)Signed by Stan Lee and John Romita Jr. 4/83. Monica Rambeau was struck by an extra dimensional energy beam from an energy disruptor developed by a terrorist. She was given super powers and dubbed "Captain Marvell. Spider-Man introduced her to The Avengers to help develop her powers more skillfully. She later changed her name to Photn and then to Pulsar.
