Walt Disney’s Dumbo 7/49

One of Disney’s most beloved animation characters of all time/. This issue was actually reprinted four more times including twice more in Four Color, issue 668 in 1955 and the second edition of issue 668 in 1958.Reprints include:

• in Four Color (Dell, 1942 series) #668 (December 1955)
• in Walt Disney's serier (Hjemmet, 1950 series) #8/1956 (august 1956)
• in Four Color (Dell, 1942 series) #668 [2nd] (January 1958)
• in Walt Disney Showcase (Western, 1970 series) #12 (December 1972) [revised; modified]

With a 9.2 guide of $270, this is not an inexpensive book. Yet this is the single best graded copy of five copies graded to date. It seems like you see it everywhere, but the only conclusion I can reach is that this is one tough baby in higher grade to get your hands on. 12/12 I actually bought this raw on EBay from Goldkeycomics, normally a pretty poor grader. In fact he sold this an a VF+.
