Owner's Description

This is the third earliest JLA issue (after JLA#11 and JLA#17) that tops the current census with a 9.8 grade. My copy is tied with one other as the HIGHEST graded copy on the census. I had originally went after the other 9.8 in the census all the way back in August of 2011, but I wasn't serious enough and the final price of $2,556 was a relative bargain. By the time I had the chance at the other 9.8 (the Pacific Coast copy!!!) in 2014, I had to pony up a LOT more to get it. Of course, with only two 9.6's on the census, this issue is a little more scarce to find in the upper high grades and as such just doesn't appear that often.
