They sent a man farther into the cosmos than anyone has gone before or since. Lost in the stars, he encountered something unknown. Something that changed him.</p>Long thought lost & erased from the history books, he has suddenly returned, crash-landing in the Australian Outback. The few that have been able to reach him believe him to be a deity; one who turned the scorched desert into a lush oasis. They say he can bend matter, space, & even time to his will. Earth is about to meet a new god; and he's a communist.</p><p>How long can it be before the first confrontation between mankind and DIVINITY begins?</p><p style="text-align: center;">******************************************</p><span style="color: red;"><strong>COLLECTOR'S NOTES:</strong></span><br />Perhaps (in my opinion) the least visually stunning cover of the <strong><em>Divinity </em></strong> series. I contacted Aaron Michael Schrom (eBay seller <a href="http://tinyurl.com/jdkcv5h" target="_blank">turtleman402</a>) who buys/sells a high monthly volume of comics, and requested a CGC 9.8 copy (since I knew he would have one).</p><p> Not long after, a member of the <a href="http://tinyurl.com/jabfclt" target="_blank">Valiant Fans</a> comunity was selling this CGC 9.8 Signature Series copy, signed by colorist David Barron, which I purchased without delay.</p>Hairsine's interior page art is featured for the cover of <strong><em>Divinity </em>#1 (Hairsine Variant Cover)</strong> behind the color scheme. The cover design is actually by artist Tom Muller, and features Hairsine's artwork which appears to come from a number of interior pages actually, however the most visibly prominant page art is from Page #3 which is pictured below.</p><img alt="Divinity #1 Hairsine" height="308" src="http://tinyurl.com/z4qvbfc" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" width="200" /></p>
