Owner's Description

This copy is tied with SIX others for second highest on the census, trailing only one 9.6. If there is any early issue that has been available in high grade multiple times, it's this one. The Twin Cities copy is currently the highest graded, but I was the underbidder when it came to auction in 2013 (the second time it went to auction in just over 2 years). You can't win them all - though I've tried most of the time. This particular copy was obtained to upgrade on the page quality on a previous 9.4 I had picked up. I guess the 9.4 cost me about $5K less than the 9.6 would've, so that's good.
