***As far as all the comics that I have read go- Carl has the hardest life of anyone- EVER!- I read the comic as Carl being the main character- his life being the worst possible existence ever- he is witness to more blood and gore and pain and death than anyone. Everything else we see is just information to inform us just how much Carls life sucks. All the older survivors had their time living the normal life- enjoying and appreciating technology, the comforts of modern day living- NOT CARL- his whole life (at least 94%) has been brutal- since he was cut from his moms belly all he's known is madness and terror. He doesn't have Xbox live. He cant go watch the Twilight saga in 3-D (TEAM EDWARD!) He will NEVER get to go buy comics at a comic store-....he eventually might get laid if he's lucky- but even that will just lead to some close friends being decapitated! -He might meet some kids his age...but they will throw rocks at his head! Before he was 10(?) he'd already performed a triple homicide- (old and young victims)- he sees his dad get chopped-up, see's his mom get shot and murdered- sees a baby die, loses an eye, watches people get beat to a pulp (but will never watch Pulp-Fiction)- Has to debate with himself multiple times whether or not to kill or desert his own father; He will never get to go the Fantastic Four movies...In & Out double cheeseburgers?- NOPE! Getting drunk on prom night with his best friends who we grew-up riding bikes with and stealing 40s from the 7-11? NOPE! Front row seats to the "miley cyrus and taylor swift fire-show-on-ice" concert? NOPE! Carls life is the worst!
