Owner's Description

The Set: See notes on issue 25 for full details of this book, signature, and journey.

The Book: This book was bought by me, shepherded by Sean, and cleaned and pressed and witnessed by Rich Henn.

The Cover: A classic Matt Wagner cover, Itto crossing swords, and Daigoro, seemingly helpless, swept up in events so much greater than he can control or imagine. Matt's signature, again placed perfectly, with the black ink showing up nicely on the red cover.

The Story: "A wandering Samurai, tormented by his past, seeks a knowledge that has long eluded him. At last, the answer comes from Lone Wolf and Cub in 'Wayward Swords.'"

Second Pic: This is the back cover of Amazing Heroes nu. 118, June 1, 1987. The front cover showcases Kamui the Ninja, but mentions LW&C. This is a checklist and promotional comic, interior in black and white. LW&C is actually the centerfold article and promotional.

Although I don't consider advertisements and promotional announcements to be true first appearances, I feel like this might still be the first American published LW&C material.
