Owner's Description

The Set: This book was signed by Bill Sienkiewicz on 3/23/14.

The Book: I believe this book merits a second look from CGC. There are printers roller marks that I feel led to the point deduction, that should have been considered printing defects.

The Cover: Another flawless Sienkiewicz cover in warm ambers, golds and crimsons, with jade green accents that Alex Wald was clever enough to use for the font color for this cover. The signature is a bit more sloppy than some of his others, as if this were deep in the stack.

Second Pic: This picture shows a Koike signatured, tipped in bookplate for the Dark Horse faux leather hardback print of the first trade of their 2000 edition Lone Wolf and Cub series. For the longest time, this was the only way to get a Kazuo Koike signature, before his (as of this writing in May, 2015) four North American appearances. The only way to get a Goseki Kojima signature is to purchase a piece of original art or some personalized correspondence. These Koike bookplated signatures were limited to just 230, and these little books remain some of the rarest in the Graphic Novel collecting world. It is my understanding that there were only 1,000 total hardbacks created, leaving 770 unnumbered and unsigned.

Fortunately for my two boys, I happen to have two signed and numbered copies.
