REVERSE IMAGE: ACTION COMICS #176-READER COPY. This copy was found in New Hampshire and I love reading this comic over and over again.

This is one of the toughest book to find in high grade and at this time is the second highest graded copy. It is very difficult to find a copy of this issue in any grade.

MUSCLES FOR MONEY

This is an amazing story. When you view the first page of this book, you will be shocked. Two gangsters are dragging the beautiful Lois Lane away and she is calling out to Superman for help but the Man of Steel is seen sitting in a relaxing pose over a pile of cash and counting his assets.

In this issue you will see Superman charging a price for the use of his super powers. He apparently becomes a stingy, self-seeking miser, using his MUSCLES FOR MONEY.

The story starts out with two members of the MILLION-DOLLAR MARVINS GANG making a last stand on a rocky hillside with the Police. Supermans super hearing picks up this information on the Police radio and he arrives at the scene and creates a small avalanche using the heat of his X-Ray vision leading to the capture of the two gangsters.

Later at the police headquarters the Police Commissioner of Metropolis personally thanks Superman but to his surprise Superman demands $10,000 each for the capture of the gangsters as it was the set reward for the capture of these notorious gangsters. The cops and the commissioner are perplexed and so is the beautiful Lois Lane. Superman signs the receipt for the reward.

Lois Lane assumes that Superman will donate the money to charity and Superman says that sure he will do it and donate it to his favorite charity-HIMSELF. He poses the questions about why he should not get paid for his hard work while everybody else including Lois Lane gets paid.
Superman demonstrates how easily he can create diamonds from carbon from a lead pencil and within seconds he flies out of a window and returns with a GOLD NUGGET from an undiscovered mine in SOUTH AFRICA at super speed. He indicates to Lois Lane that if he made his own Diamonds and Gold then they would become plentiful and create a World-Wide Financial Panic.

In another instance Superman demands $10,000 to save the life of a miner trapped deep underground in a coal mine. Superman devises a CONTRACT and demands that it is signed BEFORE he performs a job. Here is how the contract reads:

JOBS WANTED
ILL DO ANYTHING THATS LEGAL PROVIDED THE PAY IS HIGH! EMERGENCY MY SPECIALTY! NO JOB TOO RISKY! SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!
SUPERMAN

Superman takes up jobs like amusing rich spoiled kids with a playground in the sky, seeding 200 acres in a few seconds and makes a ton load of cash. He then builds a vault in a mountain to store his cash. Lois Lane calls it REVOLTING. Lois Lane gets very angry at Superman and asks CLARK KENT to marry her. She announces her ENGAGEMENT PARTY with CLARK KENT.

Superman takes up a job for a old crippled man for $1000 an hour guarding his door. While Superman is at his job gangsters try to break into his mountain vault to steel his money. The old cripple turns out to be none other than MILLION DOLLAR MARVIN. The conclusion is that Superman used MUSCLES FOR MONEY to capture the MILLION DOLLAR MARVIN GANG. The beautiful Lois Lane is seen smiling at Supermans picture in the concluding panel and seems to be deeply in love with him again.
