Owner's Description

"The Double Life of a Creature!" Star Hawkins story 17 of 21. I'm not sure what to make of this cover. I've looked at the transition sequence dozens of times with the protagonist coming down the stairs and half the time I feel like it is well done and the other half I don't. I'm not a big fan of grey backgrounds, but at least this one has some good details - enough to set the scene anyway. Really, I do want to read the story to see what happens in the fight between the green and purple monsters, and I'd love to watch them fight in a dungeon. So maybe there is something there.
I'm hard pressed to say I would have spent my hard earned 12 cents on this as a child, but as an adult I am interested.
