Owner's Description

Intro & Origin Animal Man. A rare combination of a key issue and an excellent cover. The 'postage stamp' look of the upper three images, defining this new character's powers are excellent - but the tension in the body of Buddy vs. the Living Nightmare is the key to the cover composition, Buddy's everyday clothes (Infantino seems to love plaid shirts - that's ok, I think they look good too), make me feel that he's an 'everyman' type of character, and the simple black box as a background with the images extending beyond the border set the characters off, and makes the look like they are moving. All in all - a beautiful cover image that does everything it should.
