Owner's Description

Pacific Coast. The Perilous Pet of Space! Star Hawkins story 11 of 21. These early 60s DC science fiction covers are great - the crumbling skyline in the background, the blue aliens in their yellow 'earth-suits' (funny, the pet doesn't need a brething suit - it must be more adaptable than the bipedal aliens). I enjoy this one quite a bit - the spaceship is strangely reminiscent of the Legion of Super Heroes clubhouse and the earth-suits remind me a lot of Space Ranger, but the cover grabs my attention. I would have purchased this from the spinner rack.
