ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - The Clan

In the interest of preserving the limited lifespan of his powers, Spawn refuses to simply teleport back to New York City. Instead, he begins a long trek on foot through Alabama. Now deep in the heart of territory overseen by the Ku Klux Klan, Spawn corners the group’s leader after learning of the Klan’s intentions to destroy the last remaining black family in the area. With a brilliant touch of irony, Spawn transforms the leader into a black man. After his friends arrive, he discovers exactly how it feels to be on the other end of the rope.
