ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Destination: Anywhere (part 1 of 2)

Spawn continues to wander the countryside in the form of Al Simmons; however, he cannot seem to remember the purpose behind his journey, which leads him into a bizarre small town that seems obsessed with devils and demons. Even the architecture of the town pays tribute to the devil with stained-glass windows, mantles, handrails, and even doorknockers; everything is covered with Hellish motifs. Simmons soon learns the reason behind the local obsession. The devilish décor is simply a permanent reminder to the residents that evil is ubiquitous and care must be taken to avoid falling under its influence. Simmons then learns about Teind – a local festival meant to protect the town’s blessing and good fortune. When he sneaks in to see the festival firsthand, Simmons is shocked to see that a young girl is about to be sacrificed. His attempt to rescue the child is soon interrupted by the Forgotten Ones.
