NOTES OF INTEREST: This issue marks the first appearance of Spawn's "shoelace-face" - which stitches up a wound Spawn received in the Spawn/Batman crossover. This issue had a low print run compared to other issues of this era; the Overstreet Price Guide includes a "low distribution" notation for this comic.
ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - The Hunt (part 1 of 4)
While working to repair the damage to Overtkill, the mob continues to threaten Spawn. Unfazed by the warning, Spawn vows to pay Antonio Twistelli a personal visit. Meanwhile, Jason Wynn returns to earth in human form following his stint as Anti-Spawn and viciously reasserts his authority in the CIA by increasing the pressure on Terry Fitzgerald.
