Marc Simmons has found the serial killer they had been searching for, but isn't sure how he could have committed the murders. The killer is a young man with an extreme immuno-deficiency disorder and has been confined to a bubble his entire life.

Spawn on the other hand, can see that the real culprit behind the string of deaths is not the boy, but the man pulling his strings - Mammon.
