ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - A Season in Hell (part 1 of 4)

The Redeemer finds Spawn wandering the sands of Tunisia and proceeds to engage him in battle. After receiving a devastating blow, Spawn is left to die on the desert floor. Before long, however, two scorpions fulfill their mission by dragging the battered warrior down into the lungs of Hell. Meanwhile, Mammon travels to the hospital to visit with Eddie’s human body. Even though Eddie is unconscious, it does not prevent the mysterious stranger from reminding him that his father was an abusive monster of a man. While the truth could kill Eddie, it inspires the Redeemer to reflect upon his own motives.
