NOTES OF INTEREST: Spawn "quits"

ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Abdication

The ghost of Al Simmons confronts Spawn and argues that he is the true Al Simmons. Spawn almost beats Simmons to death before he realizes what he is doing to his own ghost. In the end, Spawn puts Simmons out of his misery by symbolically destroying the remains of his corpse at the graveyard. Spawn returns to the alleys and orders everyone out before telling Cogliostro that he is quitting the mission.
