ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - The Kingdom (part 7 of 7)

Twitch believes all is lost. Fearing that he has lost his son, Twitch is on the verge of suicide. Fortunately, Spawn intervenes before Twitch can pull the trigger and saves the detective’s life. In Central Park, the Children of the Kingdom continue to gather for battle. In spite of their eagerness to attack, the cult has not considered the number of Spawn’s allies, which include Zabraxis and Abbadon. The demons, with the help of a magic marker, turn the Citadel into a burning gateway to Hell for the vampires. Once Spawn reveals the sins of Simon Pure, his followers begin to turn on him. Spawn takes advantage of the situation by teleporting the group back to the Citadel just as it disappears into Hell. Unfortunately, Spawn forgets that an entranceway to Hell can also serve as an exit. The good news is that the life of Max is saved, even though he is clearly no longer the same person.
