NOTES OF INTEREST: This issue marks the first appearance of The Curse - a major villain in the series.

ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Cursed

Spawn resurrects a bum killed in the local gang wars, weakening himself with the power drain. At that moment, he’s attacked by The Curse, a religious fanatic convinced that he’ll gain entrance into Heaven by killing demons. After regaining his strength, Spawn evens the score by attacking The Curse as he preaches.

PERSONAL NOTES: This book took me a lot longer than I thought. Special thanks to CGC board member oldmilwaukee6er for donating this book to my cause free of charge! It came back as a 9.8 without pressing. This was also the first example in my collection of the re-designed CGC case and was among one of the earliest encapsulations.
