ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - The Heap (Heap/Greenworld storyline part 1 of 3)
Cog tries to jumpstart the investigation by providing Sam and Twitch with a dossier containing information about Al Simmons. Back in the city, Eddie Beckett is attacked and nearly stabbed to death. Beckett, who at the time of the attack possessed a bag of necroplasm left behind by the Freak, is saved with the help of the mysterious substance, which turns him into the Heap – a hulking creature made up of alleyway debris. Meanwhile, as the literal heat soars on the streets of Manhatten, Bootsy begs Cog to help Spawn.
