ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - The Kingdom (part 5 of 7)
Simon Pure intends to rid the world of all sinners. Enlisting the help of a group of vampires, Pure wages war against Spawn. Now an experienced warrior, Spawn draws upon his power to create a tidal wave that engulfs Simon and his followers. The vampires drown; however, Pure is able to escape Spawn’s chains by cutting off his own hand. Following the encounter, Spawn consults with Zabraxis and Abbadon in order to develop a new plan of attack against Pure. Meanwhile, Twitch encounters Max and Dawn. He is unclear whether the meeting happened during the day or in his sleep and is entirely unaware that the cult is planning a massive attack against humanity.
