ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - A Season in Hell (part 2 of 4)
While in Hell, Spawn is tormented by visions that contradict his memories of the life of Al Simmons. In his original deal with Malebolgia, Spawn agreed to accept the curse in order to be reunited with his wife. Even though he cannot tell the difference between reality and his imagination, Spawn begins to question the memories of his marriage to Wanda. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Cogliostro is confronted by Mammon, who tells the old man that his time is over. Following a brief discussion with the demon, Cog commits suicide, only to appear in Hell by Spawn’s side. With his mentor now at his side once again, Spawn may choose to finally relinquish his connections with Earth by taking over the throne he inherited from Malebolgia.
