NOTES OF INTEREST: This issue marks the first appearance of Abbadon and Zabraxas.

ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Cracks in the Foundation (Urizen storyline part 1 of 6)

Two demons, Zabraxas (Zab) and Abbadon (Ab), inhabit the bodies of two recently deceased car accident victims and walk to the nearest diner, where they carry out a mission of evil by killing 13 innocent people. Afterwards, the bodies of the victims are burned in a macabre ceremony. Nearby, Spawn senses the overwhelming presence of evil and travels to the scene to investigate. There he encounters the ancient and powerful Urizen – the god of darkness. Meanwhile, Wanda, who has not been intimate with her husband for months, struggles to explain her mysterious pregnancy.
