ISSUE SYNOPSIS: Gunslinger Spawn (part 1 of 2)
Spawn continues to explore his past and learns of his great-grandfather, a buffalo solider forced to adopt a new identity following a Wild West shootout at a saloon. Even though he was eventually caught and arrested, the man who would eventually become Gunslinger Spawn crossed paths with an emissary from Hell. The encounter would change his life forever.
CENSUS REPORT: Tied for top census copy as of 6/13
NUMBER OF SALES: 22,649 preorders reported by Diamond Comic Distributors (99th place)
REFLECTIONS: I was a huge fan of the wild-western gunslinger Hellspawn - an ancestor of Al Simmons. I just loved his particular rendition of the Hellspawn and thought the story line was an interesting break. I very much look forward to one day adding the second part of this story to my set.
