Owner's Description

The Monster Go Round! Here's a classic example of the cover not giving anything away - heck, I'm not even certain I have an idea what the story is about. Four thuggish looking men ride an odd merry-go-round of monsters, while a bearded carny holds the power lever. One of the riders has successfully captured a gold ring, but is this a good thing?
The deep blue color of the cover is eye-catching, but offers us no clues.

As I get closer to completing the go-go check set (I'm not particularly close yet at 29%) I'm starting to have more than one issue that should have been on the spinner rack at the same time. This confusing, blue-hued beauty, would have had to share rack space with Batman 181, introducing of Poison Ivy, and that gorgeous red cover by Infantino. Now, Carmine isn't my favorite artist - but would you really reach for this issue over that one? Just based on the cover art...not knowing what you know now. I just don't see how this would have competed for those twelve, sweaty pennies...(plus tax, where applicable).
