Owner's Description

This is a beautiful book with a nearly perfect spine. Another great cover where the monster is leaping from the water to claim another victim for its next meal. The problem is that there is ray gun blast between the monster and the meal, a girl. You'll have to read the story about Gale Allen to find out what happend. This book also has a peculiar back cover that reminds me of a few Walt Disney Comics & Stories that have a cartoon on the back page. This cartoon features eskimos and is actually an advertisement for a book set. This book is also another favorite of my kids. My son always asks," Is that monster going to eat her(as he points to Gale Allen on the cover)? Monsters like to eat girls." He is 3, so he thinks his series of words is funny since he has two older sisters, 7 and 9 years old. He teases them and tells them to stay away from monsters or they will get eaten. Who says comics can't teach kids good things?
This particular issue is commonly found with a cover miswrapped where the S in “Slave of Hydra” is printed in spine area and hard to read. Glad to find a nicely aligned copy with above average coloring. Worth the wait to acquire this copy.
