Owner's Description

Andy Greenham Collection. A nice cover composition and use of color with the deep blue & green background colors and the bright red flames of the flamethrower. I think I am less satisfied with the cover than I could be due to the two red text boxes, one above the masthead and the other in the lower right corner - they compete and counter the strong diagonal of the flame and ruin the flow of the composition. The fine hatching detail in the German soldier's face is wonderful and really helps bring him into the foreground.
