Owner's Description

Andy Greenham collection. What is the deal with this cover? Is the dinosaur coming out of the tree? I don't "get" this composition - but the 44P stamp makes it all worth while.

I really am jiving to the texture of the dinosaur's skin - pebbly - it looks like it should feel pebbly. And with the bright reddish-orange coloration he's pretty damn cool looking. What's with that color anyway? Is that a warning that he's poisonous if swallowed?

And - I know, I'm rambling - but, I love the yellow. All over the cover there are splashes of yellow - highlights on the tree, the masthead, the soldier's hair, muzzle flash - and it ties the entire thing together, balances it, as a single image.
