Owner's Description

"Birthday Cake for a Cannibal Robot." OK - I don't "get" the cover; but I do like the composition, and it is in-your-face enough so that the text boxes aren't the end of the world. A bright red background helps the rest of the image come to the fore, the blue cannibal robot serves an an excellent mid-ground. I like the use of DC pink for the frosting, it leaps off the page at your eyes and says "Look at me, dammit, I am important" - but that is the magic of DC pink. I think the ant's eye view helps the image and keeps some of the oddities of the draftsmanship from being distracting - certainly the cake knife on the spine edge and the cannibal's visible forearm could've been distracting from another angle.
