Owner's Description

"The Lord of Time Attacks the 20th Century." Another in what ends up being a string of JLoA covers with zero background details...OK - so the villain has a goofy look on his face, in the end, I still like the composition. I wish there was some background as opposed to just the color (green AGAIN - see issues 43, 45, & 51) and I could do without the text box, but it works overall. The cover clearly communicates the threat and the characters in the book. I think - and this is just me on a tangent - maybe part of the problem with the entire team being on the cover is all the different colored costumes make it difficult to choose a background that makes the characters pop. If all you have is Superman in his red & blue - then a yellow cover is a easy choice and you get a cover that pops. Maybe that's why some of the JLA covers just don't resonate as strongly as single character books.
