Owner's Description

Andy Greenham Collection. I have always liked this cover despite the terrible red circle & swipe just under the masthead with all the "blah, blah, blah" in it. I think it is the focus on Rock's face, the cross-hatching, possibly it is the 2/3 profile, which is my favorite portrait composition in my own work.
There may be an iron-grey sky (and you know how much I love grey backgrounds), but there is a background, a middle ground and a foreground in the image: ruins, tank remains, Easy Company, all taken together make one hell of a solid cover. But something about the sorry a$$ look of his crew: tired, overworked, stressed from too much war - is what really sells this image to me.
